Ensures seamless integration of the Common Operational Picture (COP) with all domains, integrates sensors via ASTERIX interfaces and provides Link 16 / JREAP-C TDL interfaces

What is Fortion® 1SkyControl?

Fortion 1SkyControl is an advanced air battle management software suite designed to assist forces in airspace surveillance and observation during peace, crisis and wartime.

It supports air force operators in tracking and identifying airborne objects and threats, as well as guiding own and friendly forces to designated targets, ensuring smooth coordination with military and civil ATC agencies.

As a high-end force multiplier, Fortion 1SkyControl is used in Control and Reporting Centres (CRC) to create and disseminate the Recognised Air Picture (RAP).

It enables multi-sensor tracking for plot and jam strobe data of up to 100 live and simulated radar sensors simultaneously with high tracking accuracy (within 100 metres). It also provides automatic track correlation for over 25 different source types, as well as automatic processing of more than 6,000 flight plans.

As a software defined defence product, Fortion 1SkyControl ensures interoperability and supports seamless integration of legacy and next generation assets.

Fortion 1SkyControl is the core element of the latest generation of the German Improved Air Defence System (GIADS IV).
