Key Features
What is Fortion® GVTC?
To ensure primary care facilities are available for new patients, it is crucial to transport the wounded, injured and sick to higher level treatment facilities (secondary transport).
The GVTC can be easily converted from “Low Care“ (LC) to “Intermediate Care” (IMC) during missions without requiring additional equipment. In the LC configuration, up to eight patients can be transported -four seated and four on stretchers. In the IMC configuration, it can accommodate up to six patients on stretchers. The IMC setup includes an oxygen generation system supporting up to four patients requiring oxygen and two patients needing intensive care, including mechanical ventilation. It also provides space for two medical personnel.
Operated on a protected carrier vehicle, the GVTC ensures high mobility and is suitable for various terrains. As it is based on a 20’ x 8’ x 8’ ISO standard container, it can be used with a truck featuring an interchangeable loader system and transported by truck, train, vessel or aircraft.
