What is Fortion® MSSV?

Fortion MSSV provides observation, detection, tracking, classification, identification, decision-making and response (OODA-Loop) capabilities to counter security threats.

It is applied in:

- Border surveillance

- Coastal surveillance

- Camp protection

- Critical area surveillance

- Terrorist tracking

Integrated into an all-terrain vehicle, such as the Mercedes Zetros 6x6 (or equivalent), the solution ensures reliable performance even in challenging off-road conditions. Equipped with a stabilisation system and shelter, the system operates as a light standalone operational centre in various locations within the Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Designed for agility, it is perfectly suited to desert environments and extensive surveillance areas, offering enhanced surveillance capabilities for quick reactivity.

State-of-the-Art Communication, Detection Systems and Monitoring Equipment

Fortion® MSSV integrates various communication systems (from V/UHF radio to broadband satellite transmission) for information sharing. It also includes ground surveillance radar and an electro-optic system.

Sensor data is displayed to operators, allowing them to focus on key targets within the Surveillance (SURV) software, creating a fully integrated situational awareness picture.

Ruggedised for Harsh Environments

Integrated into an all-terrain vehicle, Fortion MSSV ensures reliable performance, even in challenging off-road conditions. Its ability to operate from various locations within the AOR enhances surveillance capabilities, deterring nefarious activities and providing flexible reaction options.

Easily Operated by a Crew of Two

The system features dual screen workstations for clear, detailed view of the AOR. The dedicated camera window displays video feeds and allows quick access to camera controls, settings and tools.
