Fortion® Electronic Warfare Analyst

Fortion® EWA is an advanced exploitation software designed to identify, localise, track and characterise electromagnetic emitters, enabling the creation of the Electronic Order of Battle (EOB).

A control tower with sensors helping communications

Key Features

Exploitation of Interceptions

Receives electromagnetic emitters interceptions and generates the Electronic Order of Battle (EOB)

Query REDB (Reference Emitter DataBase)

Identifies emitters through the Emitter Database

LoB Fusion

Automatic/manual fusion of Lines of Bearing (LoB) for localisation and tracking

Display and Analysis of EOB

Compares and merges EOBs, calculates detection cones and evaluates intervisibility

What is Fortion® Electronic Warfare Analyst?

Fortion Electronic Warfare Analyst (EWA) is a modern, user-friendly software for multi-sensor exploitation, with a focus on Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) sensors.

It receives interceptions from electromagnetic emitters (radio communication, radar, jammer, SatCOM, etc) across multiple sources and provides the tools needed for operators to analyse and report on the Electronic Support Measures (ESM) situation.

EWA is a versatile tool for both tactical and strategic ELINT production, calculating emitter positions, uncertainty ellipses and defining the Electronic Order of Battle (EOB).

It helps users gain a deeper understanding of the enemy’s situation and capabilities from an ELINT perspective.

EWA

A Powerful Tool

Fortion EWA is an interoperable solution that can be integrated within a NATO CESMO network and  interfaces with the NATO Emitters Database for emitter identification.

It facilitates the transfer and storage of tasks and intelligence data for exploitation via connected networks, such as Fortion® CSD, within an accessible database. The software also integrates with Fortion® RECCE Engine and Fortion® IMINT KDB® modules to assist users in detecting, recognising  and identifying equipments and infrastructures.

Fortion EWA supports multi types of networks and offers interfaces to distributed databases, collaboration platform and workflow software, enabling efficient and seamless operations.

Your advantages with Fortion® Electronic Warfare Analyst

Fully Part of the IRM & CM processes

The Electronic Order of Battle (EOB) can be published and shared through the CSD (Coalition Shared DataServer) network, attached as a result product for specific tasks, requests or requirements within the IRM & CM processes.

Keeps the EOB and Knowledge of Enemy Emitters Up-To-Date

One of Fortion® EWA’s main outputs is the EOB, which provides the locations of all known emitters on the battlefield, their characteristics from the REDB and their temporal coverage.

The EOB is a critical asset for mission planning, Electronic Warfare, Countermeasures and viewshed analysis.

Contributes to the Common Intelligence Picture

Fortion® EWA offers a comprehensive set of tools for SIGINT operators to analyse intercepted data. These tools include continuous 24/7 reception of intercepts, various visualisation options (tables, maps, timelines, spectra and heatmaps), customisable colour coding for intercept characteristics, filtering capabilities and the ability to identify intercepts using the EOB or REDB. Additionally, it provides imagery support with vector annotations and various measurement options to enhance analysis.

Supports NATO Standards for L16, Video, GMTI, Reporting and Symbols

Fortion EWA is fully compatible with NATO interoperability standards (STANAG 4559 Ed4 – CSD), video (STANAG 4609), Collaborative Electronic Support Measure Operation (STANAG 4658 AEDP-13 Ed. B Version 1) and L16 / JREAP (J14 & J3.7). It can import from CSV/JSON and export the EOB as KML for Multi-INT fusion and decision making.
