What is Fortion® TacticalC2?

Fortion TacticalC2 is a Command and Control software solution designed for army mission preparation and execution. It provides a Common Operational Picture (COP) in command centres and combat vehicles, enabling users to send and receive orders, reports, alerts and courses of action while building the Order of Battle (ORBAT).

The solution provides comprehensive terrain awareness and visualisation of deployed troops. It manages the reporting of operational situations, including the sharing of received positions in line with information distribution rules.

Fortion TacticalC2 supports the automatic capture of observed positions using Laser Range Finder binoculars, while own forces positions are obtained via GPS receivers. Situations can be augmented with text, symbols and graphics on maps for enhanced situational awareness.

Automatic data synchronisation within a command post allows users to share relevant information in real-time, crucial for mission preparation and execution. TacticalC2 includes a military mailer and a chat tool, enabling instant messaging between command posts using text, drawing, tactical objects, layers and files.
